street noise significant markup
the rooms were quite spacious and the staff seemed reasonably helpful. a free airport pickup was included.
i had a room beside the street and found it pretty noisy at night. even for a small town.

free bikes spacious rooms fresh fruit
The resort offered complimentary city bikes. I used them to explore the area (the ride was lovely!). the rooms are spacious and well-designed. breakfast had a wide variety of options. I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit selection.
the location is a bit outside the city center.

weak shower burned out light bulbs
i felt the hotel needed some tlc. there were several maintenance issues in our room. the shower pressure was very weak and some light bulbs were burned out. i didn't report these issues since it was a short stay, but it did impact my overall experience.

decent stay near the river
varied breakfast restful night free shuttle street noise transfer issue
the hotel breakfast had a lot of options. the room offered a restful night. the hotel provided free shuttle service to town. we appreciated this.
i had a room next to the street. it was pretty noisy during the nights. it was around 40% more than third-party options. i booked a transfer to the railway station but it never happened.

The hotel location is acceptable. It requires approximately a 25-minute walk to the main street, though the stroll is quite pleasant. The staff are very helpful and FRIENDLY.
I encountered noise issues because my room was next to the street. It was pretty noisy during the nights, even in a small town. This issue affected my sleep quality.

city bikes delicious options friendly staff
i liked the free city bikes. they were very useful to move around. breakfast included many options, all delicious. the staff was friendly.
the hotel is a bit far from the historic town center.
